Mainly Done

The bulk of the book is finished now. I'm just tweeking the order of the devotions a little and fine tuning the writing. All that's really left is the polishing of the intro. Still need an agent, though. Thanks for the prayers, folks. I appreciate it.

I think I'll call this devotional Inspired Reading. I hope people will be inspired by their interaction with the text and find deeper relationships with God as a result.

No Dice

Well that first agent turned me down. Oh well. There's more where that one came from. I'm going to keep trying. Keep those prayers coming.

Did It

I sent out the first (and, God willing the only) query letter to a literary agent who has had a bit of success with Christian authors and the Christian publishing biz herself. Keep me in your prayers folks!

Update

Well that five week devotional is rough drafted. I'm now in the pocess of revising. Probably tomorrow I will send a query letter to a literary agent. I figure that by the time I receive a response I will be ready to ake the next step in this process.
